If you are driving from the north, including the Hartford airport, stay on I-91 until exit 3 “Trumbull Street”. If you are driving from the east or south on I-95, as you reach New Haven you need to enter I-91 and then immediately take exit 3 from I-91. From exit 3, go straight through the first traffic lights onto Trumbull Street.
If you are going to the department go straight through the next two intersections with traffic lights and at the following lights turn right to Prospect Street. Sloane Physics Lab is on the right after you pass another traffic light.
If you are going to the parking lot, or the hotels, turn right to Whitney Avenue at the second traffic light after the exit from the interstate. Pass another traffic light on Whitney. The Lawn Club is immediately to the right, parking lot is to the left at the next light. To get to B&B turn left at the third light to Edwards Street and then right to St Ronan Street.
If you are coming for a day please park in Lot #16 and ask for a parking permit when you come to the department.
